What is your job title?

Account Manager

In addition to your job title, tell us a little bit about what you do/your company does.

Trilix is a full-service marketing an advertising agency. As an account manager, I’m on the client service side of the business. In addition to building and cultivating those client relationships, I’m the lead point of contact for all projects and, in turn, I liaise with our internal creative, video, interactive, media and communications teams to keep our solutions on time and on budget. Of course, seeking new business opportunities is also part of the job.

What is your favorite part about your job?
I think there’s a common misconception that marketing and advertising is just artwork with punchy taglines. I believe I’m here fundamentally to solve problems for my clients. I’m motivated by that challenge; What’s the goal or the problem? Which of our services and tactics is the best solution? What’s the optimal way to utilize the allotted budget and time to achieve the best result? It’s fun to navigate each project in that way.
What made you decide to join Forge?

We were seeking a smaller, private office but also the ability to network and interact with others during the day. Forge was the perfect fit. We enjoy the atmosphere and sense of community here.

What is your favorite thing about Forge?

Forge is only as good as its people, and the people are wonderful!

What is your favorite spot/place to work at Forge?

I’m partial to my office, but it’s nice to plop down in one of the comfy chairs in the common area every once in a while for a change of scenery.

What is your ideal weekend in Birmingham?

This time of year, I will spend as much time outside as possible. If I’m not watching football or soccer in the garage, you can probably find me at a brewery with friends or wandering through Lowe’s trying to come up with a home project to do. My dogs demand a lot of attention too, so maybe a visit to Red Mountain with them.
