Frequently Asked Questions about Virtual Mail
What exactly is Virtual Mail?
With Virtual Mail at Forge you will receive a Business Mailing Address with your own suite number. All of your physical mail will be delivered to Forge and we will alert you virtually when you receive an item of mail or a package.
Will I be able to see the content of my mail with my mail notification?
With your mail notification, you will receive a picture of the outside of each item of mail you received for the day. From the website or app you instruct the Forge team if you would like pick up the mail in person, have us shred the mail for you, have us scan you a copy of the mail or have us forward the mail item for you.
What is Anytime Mailbox
Anytime Mailbox is the third party platform that we use to manage all mail. All mail related notifications will come from Anytime Mailbox. All mail related charges will be paid directly to Anytime Mailbox. We do not share credit card information, you will be asked to enter your credit card information with Anytime Time Mailbox.
Why am I being asked to submit a 1583 form and Identification Documents.
According the guidelines of the USPS in order for Forge to manage your mail, you must have the required documents submitted. The 1583 form legally gives us permission to handle your mail. The required identification documents prove that you are who you say you are.
How is the Virtual Mail plan different from the Virtual Office plans?
The Virtual Mail plan is for individuals or organizations that only need mail service at Forge and do not need any of our in-person services. Our Virtual Office Plans include different levels of in person access. If you find yourself in need of conference rooms or needing a place to work for the day, you might want to consider one of our Virtual Office Plans. Not sure which plan is right for you? Can I use my new address for my Google My Business Listing?
The only mail plan that you are able to use for your Google My Business Listing is the Google My Business Package. According to Google guidelines for listing an address in your Google My Business Listing, you must have a physical presence at the address you are listing. The Google My Business Package includes a coworking membership in order to meet Google guidelines.
