Our beautiful, light filled event space is perfect to host your next corporate event, staff training, Happy Hour or networking event. Located directly above The Pizitz Food Hall, our convenient location makes this unique location convenient for all of your guests. We have all of the amenities, all you need to do is show up! Our event spaces are equipped with large screen TV’s for screen sharing, projector and screen, sound equipment and endless amounts of beautiful daylight!

This semi-private conference room is perfect for your next staff training, Lunch and Learn or networking event. We have all of the amenities you need to conduct your meeting. All you have to do is show up and we will take care of the rest. Equiped with Large Screen TV for screen sharing, Whiteboard, Podium for lecture style meeting and a beautiful view of downtown Birmingham that never gets old!

Can anyone reserve your event spaces?
Yes! Our event spaces can be rented by the public, not just Forge members.
Can we bring in our own caterers?
Yes, you can choose your own caterer. However, we do have a list of preferred caterers that are very familiar with Forge and comfortable with set up and breakdown.
What are the Venue capacities?
Shuttlesworth Room: 20-25 Seated at tables
Event Space (including Lobby): 150-200 Standing, 150 Row Seating 150, 50 Classroom
Can we rearrange the furniture?
You may rearrange the furniture. If needed, you may also bring in more furniture. The current furniture that is in the space may not be removed. At the conclusion of the event, you will be responsible for returning the room to the condition when you arrived.
Do you have AV equipment that we can use for our event?
We have a large screen rolling TV that you may use for your event. We also do have a large screen, projector and sound equipment that are available to rent for your event.
Do we need to have liability insurance?
Yes. If the event is over 20 people you are required to have liability insurance. You can easily add this on to your business insurance for the day of your event.
Are you licensed to serve alcohol?
No. If you plan to serve alcohol, you can either hire a bar tender for the night (required for events with over 30 attendees) or you can apply for a license for the day of the event. The Louis Bar in The Pizitz Food Hall is very familar with bartending events at Forge and we highly recommend using them.
Where do our guests park?
The Pizitz Building has its own deck on the corner of 1st Avenue North and 18th Street. The first two hours are free. There is also plenty of street parking which is free after 6:00.
