Meet Forge’s New Operations and
Hospitality Coordinator: Hannah LaFavor!
Tell us a little bit about yourself:
“Hi! My name is Hannah LaFavor and I am so excited to be working at Forge. I am originally from Augusta, Georgia, moved to Fort Worth, Texas for college, and then moved to Birmingham in 2023 to be close to family. I love being around people and most of my hobbies include socializing. I love to travel but I think Birmingham will be my home for quite a while.”
What brought you to Forge?
“I was job searching and my friend sent me the link about Forge looking for someone. We both thought it seemed like a good fit with my administrative background and love for being with people.”
What are you looking forward to about working at Forge?
“I am very excited to meet everyone. I have been introduced to a lot of you and am so excited to learn more about what you do, how you got to Forge, and how I can be of help. I like how this job has a routine, but every day can be different with the needs of the clients.”
What do you do when you are not working at Forge?
“I am normally doing something with my friends, church events, or at home watching a movie. I will be taking a few online classes in the Spring and so you might see me after hours watching lectures.”
If you could choose to do anything for the day, what would you choose to do?
“My perfect day would include lots of take out food/dessert/coffee and watching movies all day with cozy blankets and friends.”
What is your favorite thing about Birmingham?
“I enjoy how everything is so accessible. In Texas, it took a long time to get anywhere. There are so many areas for whatever you like to do. I also really like my church and I am so happy I found a great community to do life with.”
