Availability: One 3 hour shift each week, 7:45-10:45

We are currently looking for two Forge Ambassadors who will help us in our mission to serve our members well

Job Description

Our Forge Ambassadors play a critical role in helping us serve our community well. Forge Ambassadors take on some of the member facing duties so that our Community Manager has dedicated time to work on bigger projects. As a Forge Ambassador you will have a variety of responsibilities ranging from opening Forge up for the day, welcoming guests, preparing conference rooms, and ensuring that all Forge standards of hospitality are met each day. Each Forge Ambassador will work one three hour shift per week in exchange for a coworking membership at Forge.

Ideal Person for Community Manager

We created this position as a way to support the Forge team, but also to support and provide access to our Forge community for someone who is at the beginning stage of their entrepreneurial journey and a membership at Forge might not yet fit into your budget. This would also be a perfect fit for someone who has started or works for a non-profit and desires to be a part of our Forge community.

But first things first. Forge is first a hospitality driven business. We are looking for people to join our team who love people and have a love for serving others and helping them succeed. You are a fit for this position if you are always looking for ways to surprise and delight those you are working with. You must also have a strong desire to serve others and love to support small business owners.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Open Forge and prepare all spaces for the day – most importantly preparing the coffee for the day!
  • Prepare all Conference Rooms for the day’s bookings
  • Greet all members and guests and welcoming them to Forge
  • Complete the daily checklist of our hospitality standards
  • Support the Community Manager in daily task
  • Answer the phone and direct inquiries to the right person
  • One three hour shift each week

  • Represent Forge as a welcoming and trustworthy place for members and guests. We are in the business of serving our members with excellence!
  • Develop an atmosphere of comfort and trust with our members
  • Perform opening, daily and/or closing shift duties including, making coffee, preparing conference rooms, restocking kitchen, always making sure Forge is clean and tidy…
